99th Hillyard Festival. This is Hillyard Festival's 99th year. There is 3 days of live entertainment, vendors, food, Saturday Show n Shine, Parades (one at 10am and a car parade at noon), Beer garden all 3 days, Worship in the Park on Sunday morning at 10 am, Hillyard Festival Breakfast on Saturday morning 7 to 10 am at St. Peter's Church on E. Wellesley. Pick up a Hillyard Gazette at Hillyard locations or Dick's Hamburgers on 3rd for a full schedule. The parades are on Saturday. Also, Hillyard Lions Club is hosting bingo in the park all three days as a fund raiser for there hearing aide/glasses program. This all takes place in Sharpley-Harmon Park on N. Market. Roving Gamblers MC Show n' Shine. For the fifth year in a row the Roving Gamblers Motorcycle will be holding a motorcycle Show n’ Shine in the NE corner of Harmon Park North 6100 Market street in Spokane, WA. The RGMC Show n’ Shine is different from similar events in that the motorcycles are not judge by club members, or even by others motorcyclist. The winners are selected by the everyday people attending the Hillyard Festival. Plaques and monetary awards are made to the winners of the following categories: BEST OF SHOW, CLASSIC, CUSTOM, SIDECAR, STOCK, TRIKE, AND WORK IN PROGRESS. To enter your bike, be at the Northeast corner of Harmon park just after the Hillyard Festival Parade. Sign up fee is $10. The Roving Gamblers Motorcycle Club is the oldest AMA chartered motorcycle club in the Inland Empire. We received our charter in 1967. Post Falls ID (Near Spokane) to Silverdale WA..  The Central Kitsap Fire Fighters Association and the Kitsap 9-11 Memorial Project is erecting a monument to the victims and heroes of 9-11-01. We have acquired 2 steels beams to be transported with a full motorcycle escort as it enters WA State. Depart Post Falls ID the morning of Sunday 22 August for Silverdale WA.
