I talked with Belinda and Norm for a while and they told me this….

They started their company to provide highest quality, American Made Leather products available today. Each item is custom made to fit the individual and to their design, it is made from USA Leather that can pass the test of time. Not only do they use the highest quality leather but threads and hardware in their products are also made to last. Not like the cheap imports you see everywhere these days. Not only do their garments fit, but they hold up to the wear of motorcycle use. “We are proud to put "Made in the USA" labels in our products.” 

In the Fall of 2004 owners Norm Vickerman and Belinda Neely met in Crown King AZ, where the business name "Crown King Customs LLC" originated. Within a few months a new business was formed. Norm & Belinda have many years of combined knowledge of bikes and leather. Norm has been riding motorcycles all his life; his father gave him his first bike when he was only six.  Thru his many years of riding he knows what is needed in leathers to provide comfort and function.

Belinda has 27 years of leather working knowledge. Starting in the late 70's with Lancer Leather a Phoenix, AZ based company. At the time the leather company was a forerunner in motorcycle apparel. Her career with them developed many skills from pattern making to custom fit and design, where she specialized in making street cloths, racing suits and leather motocross, yes motocross was made of leather then before nylon took over the industry. During the late 80's & 90's she had her own company "USA PRO STYLE" her specialty was racing suits, street wear, and she was a main provider of leather jackets for the Motorcycle Police Officer’s jackets throughout the state. Though her primary business was motorcycle apparel during that time she also worked with a Nashville based designer under the designer’s label. Belinda created one of a kind leather outfits that were worn by country music celebrities.  From 2001-2005 Belinda worked as assistant Manager at The Leather Factory Phoenix store, where she taught all their leather classes and  she expanded her leather knowledge into saddle making  and carving, a different type of leather art form.  And every year in May she attends Saddle making school in Sheridan WY. This past May while attending saddle school, Crown King Customs entered "The World Leather Debut" with one of their stock leather motorcycle jackets and won first place, they also won runner up to that jacket with a leather dress. They were honored to have won such an award from their peers in the leather industry.
