What
is a Trackday? by Ted Rich |
Trackdays are meant to be safe, fun and educational. The racetrack removes all of the distractions from riding on the street; the police, encroaching traffic and even the inconsistencies of surface you’ll find on the open road. These variables are replaced with a well-defined, predictable and repeatable set of riding circumstances. In the controlled environment that the racetrack offers, you are free to pick a corner or set of corners and ride them over and over again while improving your riding. Why do Trackdays? As the overall sales and interest in sport bike and sport-touring bikes increase, so does the need for a safe place for riders to go and learn the limits of their bike as well as themselves. Why should someone do a Trackday? To improve their riding skills, it’s really as simple as that. AZTrackday.com offers four riding groups: Beginner, Super Street, Intermediate and Advanced. The Beginner and Super Street group has classroom as well as on-the-track instruction. Safety is the main concern at the track; by breaking the groups down into four, safety is enhanced for all riders. Whether you are a new rider or a seasoned rider, Trackdays teach you better throttle control, lean angle, corner speed and most importantly; braking. Making you a safer rider anytime you are on a bike. AZTrackday.com was created FOR Sport Bike Enthusiasts BY Sport Bike Enthusiasts to make track time more available and more fun. Come join the fun!
