The story starts in 1990 when a family man names Marty Ross decided to purchase a small neighborhood bar called The Post Time. When he returned home that day and informed family members about his newest venture, they thought he had lost his mind! The bar opened and a variety of people came and went through the doors. It only took a couple of years for Marty to realize that the Post Time was turning into a Biker Bar! He wasn’t quite sure what to think about his “Sports Bar” going “Biker Bar” because he of the bad rap bikers receive and unfortunately, still receive today. At that point he knew he had to assemble a hard-working and qualified team of people. His first attempt was to convince his son Ernie to leave his career in sales, and his daughter Joanna to leave her marketing job, with two other people already playing a key roll in the Bar’s success. After the addition of two more very talented and important people, Georgia and Fran, a family business was born. The new adventure began. There were so many new people to meet and greet. Ernie seemed to fit right in, welcoming all the new and wonderful people of the Biker Community, and started hosting Biker Events. It wasn’t long before we saw the need to expand our Bar to give these folks a bigger and better place to call home. One of those wonderful people we met was a woman named Kimmy, who had been a part of the Biker Community for quite some time. She became one of our loyal customers and it didn’t take her long to have a vision of her own. Just before the sudden ‘Biker Boom’, Ernie launched the now world-famous Steel Horse Saloon! It has been featured Nationally on T.V, and in Magazines. At that time, Kimmy also launched the Arizona Biker Information Guide! My how Both have grown! Both are successful and Both are still going strong with hopes of future growth with the help of all of you in the Biker Community. Back in the day, these were the only two
businesses catering to Bikers. Times have changed and the Marketplace
continues to grow. However if you’re looking for a good time,
friendly people and a great staff, be sure to stop in the oldest, original
Biker Bar..........
