February 2009 Editorial...
February in Illinois and Wisconsin is as unpredictable as the football season was (not being much of a sports fan myself, I can say that honestly). What we do know is it's our second month into our winter edition (which has been at our advertiser''s locations now and will be distributed at the Welcome Center at the International Motorcycle Show) and we are a month closer to our April Edition. April is the start of our 2009 season and much excitement in house because our dream for the Biker Guide for our area is growing. You can all look forward to more content, including feature stories, feature riders, more great places to check out and more suggestions on where to ride and explore more of our great area. We've taken some great shots of bikes and folks at the January Shows and McHenry HD's January BBG, and we'll be taking lots more at the International Motorcycle Show. There are ticket specials on line, so think about getting out and look us up at the Welcome Center, pick up your Winter Edition of the Biker Information Guide, get your Crew together and pose for a picture. We've got a great edition coming in April and you're a BIG part of it! Don't forget to post your upcoming runs, events on the site. Remember it's FREE and easy and March 1st is the deadline for publishing in the April edition. If you're interested in having a page in the magazine where you'll have opportunity to feature a story about what your business can do or is doing. Or if you would like to promote an event in the upcoming season, let Shawn know so we can hook up and get it laid out and designed for the April or July edition. We've got some great ideas for getting this information to you including distribution partners, new e-newsletter formats, local classifieds etc. but make no mistakes we make no claims to be able to do it on our own. So give us a howler if you would like to join our group of friends who help us make it happen. We're committed on making this your reliable resource, so whether your old school, chopper, v-twin, metric, off rode, trike or scooter. Ride on…. Jennifer
